We specialize in Pain Management, Spinal Disorders, MusculoSkeletal Medicine and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Boris Abayev, M.D. is one of the few doctors in New York, who accepts almost all insurance plans including Medicaid and all HMO/PPO insurance coverage, except Wellcare, Magnacare.

Office hours are:

  • call for urgent appointmants 718-830-0002
  • Thursdays 2-7 pm 
  • Sundays  2-7 pm
  • And late evenings, for your convenience  when needed.

Same or next day appointments are sometimes available. We were able to help vast majority of our patients.

We always find time to speak to our patients and explain their medical condition to them in detail, we also typically discuss what we are planning to treat.  We are conveniently located upstairs from the Subway at 63rd Drive, Rego Park, Queens Local Subway station

  1. Take the (express E or F to Continental AVenue 71st and change there for the local R or M train Manhattan bound and get off at 63rd Drive
  2. Or simply take the local wherever available and come to 63rd drive directly

Dr. Abayev, has completed a fellowship training program at the one of the most prestigious universities in the USA - New York University School of Medicine in Musculoskeletal Medicine, Pain Management, EMG and Research.

He is an author of 28 research publications, a recipient of the Recognition Award from the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, one of the winners of the world research papers’ competition, a recipient of Special Commendation and Certificate of Appreciation from the NY Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, elected and served as an Editor-in-Chief of the Proceedings at New York Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

He is affiliated with New York Hospital Queens (Cornell University Weill Medical college) and Queens Hospital Center (Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University).
