These are general tips, but it does not replace your doctors advice. Please advise with your doctor, if you can follow these general recommendations.

  • Get at least 60 minutes of moderate physical activity daily
  • Brisk walking for at least 5 days each week
  • Engage in more physical activity by limiting TV and computer time
  • Perform activities in fresh air
  • Oxygen and sunlight are a part of the metabolic process
  • Consume fewer calories - exercise pushing away from the table
  • Eat a variety of foods in moderate amounts
  • Eat lots of vegetables
  • Satisfy hunger and to stay energized

Always start your day with exercise:

  • Cycling
  • Jogging
  • Swimming
  • Walking
  • And different exercises for a minimum of one hour daily
  • Follow with a warm shower and have a light breakfast
  • Eat more grains
  • Green leafy vegetables
  • Control portions
  • Cut down on coffee and chokolate or better yet stay caffeine free
  • Cut down on spicy food, salty, marinated, smoked and processed foods
  • Cut down on cakes, cookies, candies -- eat more grains and leafy vegetables
  • Eat fresh food instead of canned or processed food
  • Use freshly cooked meats, fish and chicken
  • Eat lots of spring beans, fresh green peas, even put them in salads with lettuce, olive oil and balsamic vinegar
  • Eat milk products
  • Eat eggs as a good source of protein
  • Almonds are also very good for protein
  • Use vegetables oils instead of animal fat
  • Drink water instead of sodas, coffee, ice tea or other caffeinated drinks
  • Avoid junk food or outside food (cook for your self using healthy ingredients) 
  • try healthy diet for a couple of weeks and see how you feel, then you make your own decision to what diet to follow
